We are aware that certain individuals have been posting fraudulent advertisments for Seplat positions. Please find information outlining what to do with such communications, below.

It has come to our attention that certain fraudulent individuals have been posting advertisements on some job websites promising job-seekers positions at Seplat if they submit their curriculum vitae, call the advertised contact numbers and pay a particular fee.

We entirely dissociate Seplat from these websites and their content as well as any email purported to have originated from this company on this subject. The job advertisement is entirely false and are intended to defraud unsuspecting members of the public. We would like to make it abundantly clear that we have not engaged any individual or job website to advertise job positions on our behalf. The contact phone numbers provided on the said websites are not those of Seplat.

Positions at Seplat are filled through a formal procedure, and we never request candidates to pay a fee before they are considered for positions in Seplat. Also, we have not authorised any recruitment agency to advertise employment opportunities on behalf of the company. All job advertisements that suggest the contrary should be disregarded.

Should an individual receive an email from a company or website advertising job opportunities at Seplat, please do the following:

  • Completely disregard the message
  • Never supply personal details
  • Never make any payment(s) to any individual or into any bank account via the job websites, SMS or email
